Laura Cecilia Henley was born on February 27th, 1959 in Lincoln, Nebraska to Lorraine Ramona (Frey) and richard Arlen Heaney. She passed away at her daughters home in Sayre, Oklahoma on Thursday, January 26th, 2023 at the age of 63 years, 10 months and 30 days.

Laura grew up in Lincoln, Nebraska where she attended school and later went furthered her education receiving college credit hours at Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Sayre. She raised her family and was employed at various places including Sagebrush, Angels In Training daycare, Henley's Taxidermy, and owned and operated The Red Velvet Bar. Laura could also be seen shopping, "yard therapy", being a social butterfly, and spending as much time as possible with her family and friends. Laura never met a stranger and freely gave out hugs...rather the recipient wanted them or not.

She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Robert Griffin; her ex-husband, Brad Sharp.

Laura is survived by her 2 daughters, Sondra Sharp and husband, Gregory Scroggins, Sayre, OK and Tasia Henley and husband, Jacob Teel, Greenbrier, AR; 5 grandchildren Deonna Evans and husband, Elijah Royse, Preston Scroggins, Amelia Teel, Hadley Teel, and Nova Teel; 1 great granddaughter, Ellonni Royse; 1 sister, Linda Smith; 2 brothers, Danny Moeller and Mark Griffin and a host of other relatives and friends.
