Korbin Newman was born May 8th, 2000 in Elk City, Oklahoma to Julie Lynn (Vaughan) and Jeremy Lee Martinez. He passed away Saturday, December 3rd, 2022 at the age of 22 years, 6 months and 25 days.

Korbin grew up in western Oklahoma and attended school at Clinton, Oklahoma during grade school and came to Elk City in the 7th grade. During high school he was very active with the band. He was a part of the 2018 graduating class of Elk City High School. After graduation he moved to Weatherford, Oklahoma and went to school to obtain his Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license. He then began working at a local facility as a CNA. During the Covid period he held various jobs in retail sales until he transitioned into the automotive industry where he was a service technician for Cummins. Korbin was an e-sports fanatic, he loved shooting his grandfather's ammo, he also loved skateboarding, music, working out at the gym and taking care of his cat Hime. He most of all loved spending his time with his family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Renee Murray; great grandparents, Pete and Margaret Walker, Marie Phillips, and Charles Rhea Vaughan Sr.

Korbin is survived by his parents Julie and Jeremy Briscoe of Weatherford, OK and Jeremy Martinez, Elk City, OK; 3 bonus sisters, Madison, Raven, and Ireland Briscoe; grandparents, Jerry and Malea Newman, Carter, OK, Chuck Vaughan, Edmond, OK, Melissa Briscoe, Elk City, OK; great grandparents, Reta Dorris, Elk City, OK; aunt and uncle, Mark and Janesa Vaughan, Richmond, TX, and Brock Vaughan and wife, Kirsten, Carpenter, OK and a host of other relatives and friends.
