Obituary

Keith Loy Wilson was born October 12th, 1953 in Elk City, Oklahoma to Carmie Marie (Evans) and Mose Taylor Wilson. He passed away in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on Tuesday, January 23rd, 2024 at the age of 70 years, 3 months and 11 days.

Keith grew up in Sentinel and attended school at Port and later Sentinel schools where he graduated in 1971. He was later married to Debra Joy (Bishop) at the First Baptist Church in Sentinel, Oklahoma on June 9th, 1972. After their marriage they made Elk City their home where Keith found employment as a mechanic with Gene Smith Chevrolet and Mid-West Farm Supply. He also farmed and worked as a crop adjuster in the insurance industry. In the later part of his life, Keith worked for Tim's Hotshot, Odis Crane, and KLX Energy as a transport driver in the oil and natural gas industry. Keith held various offices in the southwest district Square Dance Federation and was also an exalted ruler of the Elks Lodge #2343. In what little time Keith had, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, golf, square dancing and spending time with his family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Mose and Carmie Wilson; parents in law, Pete and Viola Bishop; and one brother-in-law, Tom Bishop.

Keith is survived by his wife, Debbie, of the home; 2 children, Jamie Mong and husband, Shay, Taylor Community, OK, and Jeremy Wilson, of the home; 5 grandchildren, Taylor Mong and wife, Brittani, Tanner Mong and wife, Kensley, Mackenzie Mong, Mason Mong, and Marlie Mong; numerous bonus grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren, Kamden Mong, and Krew Mong; 1 great granddog, Jovie; 1 sister, Pat Sanders and husband, Jim; 1 brother, Steve Wilson and wife, Brenda; sister-in-law, Laurie Bishop and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made to Port Cemetery, at the All American Bank, 122 E Main St, Sentinel, OK 73664 or Retrop Baptist Church, 12789 N 2030 Rd, Carter, OK 73627.
