Obituary

Kathleen Jane Hutson Hart was born November 7th, 1945 in Orange, California to Rose Elizabeth (Corbett) and Wayne Oliver Hutson. She passed away Sunday, September 4th, 2022 at her home in Elk City, Oklahoma at the age of 76 years, 9 months and 28 days.

Kathleen grew up in Santa Ana, California where she attended school and graduated in 1963. After graduation, she began her career in the banking industry as a teller. She later obtained employment with Redlands Federal Savings and Loan where she remained until 1986. Kathleen moved to Palmdale, California and then to Clinton, Oklahoma where she continued in the banking industry. She was married to Richard Wesley Hart in Wheeler, Texas on December 1st, 1987. After their marriage lived in Clinton where she later obtained employment at Clinton Regional Medical Center in the business office. Together they moved to Utah and California returning to Western Oklahoma where they made their home in Elk City. Kathleen returned to the banking industry working for American National Bank and Legacy Bank until her retirement in 2014. She was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints for 35 years. To say that she was an avid QVC shopper is an understatement, but she also enjoyed quilting, custom drapes, baking especially pumpkin rolls, knitting, crocheting, and helping anyone that needed anything.

She is preceded in death by her parents and 2 brothers, Ray and Wayne Hutson.

Kathleen is survived by her husband, Richard, of the home; 3 children, John Mann, Great Bend, KS, Deborah Jane Mann and husband, Corey Clay, Salem, OR, and Mark Mann and wife, Lisa Marlin, Enid, OK; 7 grandchildren, Rob, Jonathon, Shayne, Lexi, Doug, Rissa, and Marshal; 7 great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, September 8th, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Fairlawn Cemetery officiated by Bishop David K Chasteen. Arrangements are under the direction of Chris Whinery and the staff of Affordable Cremation Service-West. Condolences can be made online at www.classicfunerals.com
