Julie Joan Maddox was born July 17th, 1960 in Elk City, Oklahoma to Mary Etta (Moler) and L.V. Maddox. She passed away Saturday, January 3rd, 2026 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 65 years, 5 months and 17 days.

Julie grew up in the Hammon and Butler, Oklahoma areas. She attended and graduated from Butler High School in 1979. After graduation she moved to Clinton, Oklahoma where she found employment with Halliburton and later Bar S Foods. In 1994, Julie moved to Elk City where she continued working for Bar S while living closer to her family. Later she gained employment with Lucky Star Casino where she was an observation technician for the better part of 8 years. Julie formally retired to help take care of her mother and continued until her passing. In what spare time Julie had, she enjoyed drawing and crafting decorative boxes.

She is preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.

Julie is survived by her son, Bobby Lynn Maddox and wife, Danielle, Elk City, OK; one grandson, Lennox Maddox, Elk City, OK; Cody Maddox and wife, Carla, Bobby Maddox and wife, Marla, Mitzie Maddox; nieces and nephews, Clint Maddox, Blake Maddox, Mckensey Maddox, Chance Maddox, Cailey Maddox, and Lynzea Miller and a host of other relatives and friends.
