John Ross Womack was born July 4th, 1948, on his mother's 43rd birthday, in Elk City, Oklahoma to Claudie and Opal (Brown) Womack. He passed away Sunday, October 2nd, 2022, in Bethany, Oklahoma at the age of 74 years, 2 months and 28 days.

John grew up in Elk City where he attended school. After high school he attended OSU Okmulgee where he received auto mechanic and electronics certificates. Throughout his life, he did a little bit of everything until he moved to Oklahoma City in June of 2021 because of his health. He was a member of the Church of God and his greatest joys in life called him dad and grandpa.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Claudie and Opal Womack and one son, Chris Womack.

John is survived by his son, Jordan Womack, Elk City, OK; his daughter, Catrina Mobley and husband, Justin, Mangum, OK; 2 grandchildren, Kristabel and Kaleb Mobley, Mangum, OK; sister, Lodema Medders, El Reno, OK; a special couple he considered a brother and sister, Al and LaQuita Mobley, Granite, OK and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt appreciation to the staff of Traditions Health staff and Agape Road staff for being there with John until the end. The family ask that memorial donations be made to the funeral home to offset the cost of the funeral or the Agape Road in Bethany, Oklahoma.
