Jimmie Leon Tomberlin was born November 2, 1931 to Raymond L. and Velma Tomberlin at Roll, Oklahoma and departed this life on December 14, 2025 at the age of 94 years.
He was a member of the Church of Christ, having served as an Elder for the 2nd and Adams Church of Christ, Elk City, Oklahoma and the Travis Peak Church of Christ, Marble Falls, Texas.
He was married to Ida Joan Ackley on August 26, 1950 in Hammon, Oklahoma.
To this union were born 3 sons and 1 daughter. He was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years and their daughter, Kitty Fran, at the age of 2 years. His parents, 3 sisters and 4 brothers.
He is survived by 1 brother, Billy Ray Tomberlin, Alva, Oklahoma.
Three Sons, Mike and his wife Pam of Florence, Alabama; David and his wife Kay of Flower Mound, Texas; and Dean and his wife Terri of Marble Falls, Texas.
