Jim Loyde Piercy was born April 6th, 1953 in Elk City, Oklahoma to Betty Fern (Mayfield) and Charles Dewey Piercy. He passed away at his home in Elk City, Oklahoma on Monday, March 10th, 2025 at the age of 71 years, 11 months and 4 days.
Jim grew up in Elk City where he attended school. After his schooling he did some farming and traveled many places on his Harley-Davidson. Jim worked for many years at Bullets Hotshot, and later obtained his electrical lineman certification. He spent many years working on power lines throughout the United States. He later worked for Tinker Air Force Base in the Oklahoma City metro area where he could be seen doing everything from being a mechanic on the aircraft engines to fueling them. Jim met his best friend, Frank Wagner, in Oklahoma City and they formed a lifelong bond. He returned to Elk City after his retirement where he enjoyed anything dealing with Harley-Davidson motorcycles.
He is preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Dewey Piercy.
Jim is survived by his son, Anthony Loyde Piercy and companion, Melda Wright, Merritt, OK; one granddaughter, Harley Piercy and companion Robert Stoddard, Jr.; grandson, Miles Loyde Piercy; 1 great grandchild, Oliva Rose Stoddard and a host of other relatives and friends.
