Jimmie Dale Haden was born March 27th, 1936 in Elk City, Oklahoma to Ora Myrtle (Carver) and Guy Clifford Haden. He passed away in his home at Elk City, Oklahoma on Tuesday, September 9th, 2025 at the age of 89 years, 5 months and 13 days.

Jimmie, known to most as "Jim", grew up in Elk City, Oklahoma where he attended school. He enlisted in the United States Air Force in 1954. Jim went to basic training in San Antonio, Texas and then on to tech school in Amarillo. He was stationed at Hill Air Force Base in Ogden, Utah and later Blytheville, Arkansas where he was involved with the testing of the Atom bomb. It was in Blytheville where he was honorably discharged and began his family with the birth of Toni and Deborah. Very little work and employment was to be had during that time, so Jim re-enlisted and went to Altus Air Force Base for a short stint before being sent to Schule Thorpe Air Force Base in Fakenham, England.

In January of 1960, he and the family moved back to Shaw Air Force Base in South Carolina where Jim grew his family with the birth of Guy, Jimmy, and Patrick. In 1966 he was stationed in Thailand and then served in Vietnam. He rotated out in February of 1968 and was sent to Webb Air Force where he worked on T-37 and T-38 training aircraft. In the 1970 Jim was stationed in Spangdahlem, Germany taking his family with him. They spent the following 4 years in Germany with his mother coming to visit and living up to her name of "Momma Ora" by most that knew her on the base.

In 1974, Jim returned stateside where he was stationed at Reese Air Force Base in Lubbock, Texas where he was honorably discharged for the second time with the rank of Master Sargent. After his retirement, Jim lived in Elk City, Granite, and Mangum before returning to Elk City in 2016 where he made his home. Jim enjoyed playing league softball, building model airplanes, wood working, small engine repair, gardening, growing anything from a seedling, and working in his yard.

He is preceded in death by his parents; 1st wife, Mary; 2nd wife, Patsy; son, Patrick Haden; 2 brothers, Joe Haden and Don Haden; 3 sisters, Sug Haden, Randi Woodard, and Wilda Horner.

Jim is survived by his 8 children, Deborah Brown, Toni Falen and husband, Doug, Guy Haden and wife, Deborah, Jimmy Haden and wife, Suzie, Chuck Haden and wife, Ann Marie, Bill Haden and wife, Sonya, Maylene Phipps and husband, Donnie, and Annie Walker and husband, Billy; 17 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
