Jason Wayne Parkhurst was born September 30th, 1977 in Sayre, Oklahoma to Treva Dean (Boyett) and Bobby Wayne Parkhurst. He passed away in his home in Cheyenne, Oklahoma at the age of 44 years, 2 months and 9 days. Jason grew up in Cheyenne where he attended school graduating in 1997. After graduation he found employment at the feed mill. In 2000 Jason began working for H&P Drilling where he started at the bottom and worked his way up to driller. Shortly after finding employment he met Kristel (Moore) and they were married July 28th, 2001. Together they made their home in the Cheyenne and Reydon communities where they raised their family. Just recently Jason began working for Doug Gray as a mechanic and attended several schools obtaining as much knowledge as possible. In his spare time he enjoyed riding motorcycles and spending time with his family and especially his children and grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Verdean Earl, J.T. Boyett, Wayne and Juanice Parkhurst. Jason is survived by his 4 children, Trevor Parkhurust, McKinley Parkhurst and boyfriend, Derrick, Jackie Parkhurst and Jaymie Parkhurst; 1 grandson, Axton Bryant; his parents, Trevea Hughes and husband, Jim, Bobby Parkhurst and wife, Rita; 2 sisters, Christy Batchelor and husband, Gary, and Becky Newman, Cheyenne, OK; Glen Hughes and wife, Tina, Steven Hughes and wife, Terri, Rick Hughes and Charlie Hughes and wife, Barbara, Joshua Dodd and wife, Elizabeth and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
