Janet Roberta Lovett

February 27, 1939 – August 30, 2025

On August 30, 2025, Janet Roberta (Calvert) Lovett, 86, of Alvord, Texas, completed her race and entered the presence of her Lord and Savior.

Born in Elk City, Oklahoma, on February 27, 1939, and raised in Cheyenne, Janet lived a life marked by faith, love and devotion to her family. She was a wife of noble character, and faithfully served her husband, children, and grandchildren. She poured herself into her various endeavors, and worked tirelessly while showing kindness, generosity, and joy to all she met. With a gentle spirit, a big, beautiful smile, and a spark of feistiness, she blessed all who knew her, especially her six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, each of whom she loved deeply.

Janet deeply cherished her family. She is survived by her loving husband of 69 years, Frank Lovett; her children, Steve Lovett (wife Ann) and Cindy Coffman (husband Steve); her six grandchildren, Katlyn Martin (husband Adam), Mark Coffman, Scott Lovett, Kyle Lovett, Jessica Coffman (fiancé Scott Tolan), and Cassidy Drgac (husband Dylan); and her three great-grandchildren, Trent, Truett, and Tess Martin. She is also survived by her brothers, Bob Calvert (wife Anne) and Jerry Calvert (wife Tomasina), along with their children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, all of whom she held close in her heart.

She was welcomed into heaven by her parents, Eldridge and Enid Calvert; her baby brother, Eldridge Calvert, Jr.; and her brother, Jim Calvert.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, September 5th, 2025, at the First Methodist Church in Cheyenne, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Silent Home Cemetery in Roll, Oklahoma, with a reception afterward at the First Methodist Church Fellowship Hall.

Her legacy of faith, family, and love will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
