Jacob Ray Drake was born June 27th, 2008 in Elk City, Oklahoma to Andrea Leah (Johns) and Michael Joseph Wilhelm. He passed away in Cordell Thursday, June 12th, 2025 in Cordell, Oklahoma at the age of 16 years, 11 months and 16 days.
Jacob grew up in Elk City, Oklahoma and attended grade school at Western Oklahoma Christian Schools. He later attended junior and senior high at Elk City Public Schools and was currently going to enter his sophomore year as part of the graduating class of 2028. At the age of 6, Nathan Drake entered Jacob's life and became his father and role model. Jacob loved to fish, hunt, golf, ride dirt bikes and besides his family had a great love of his pickup. He had a strong work ethic which was evident in the way he had a passion for wheat harvest, mowing his neighbors yard, shoveling snow out of the driveway, and always willing to lend a helping hand. There was rarely a time that Jacob wasn't well mannered and could be seen opening door's for women or saying please and thank you. He also was a member of the Elk City Community Church where he was baptized and expressed his loved for the Lord and always enjoyed spending time with his friends and especially his family.
He is preceded in death by his great grandparents.
Jacob is survived by his parents, Andrea and Nathan Drake, of the home; 3 brothers, Noah Drake, Aiden Allen, and Caleb Drake; grandparents, Stan and Kathy Johns, Ricky and Traci Drake; aunts and uncles, Chrystal Johns, Derek Johns, Robert Drake, Michael Drake and wife, Cassie, and Jessica Drake as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
