Howard Wade Combs was born March 28th, 1951 in Tucumcari, New Mexico to Wallene F. (Wise) and Glenn Combs. He passed away at his home on Wednesday, January 3rd, 2024 at the age of 72 years, 9 months and 6 days.

Wade grew up in Umstat, New Mexico where he attended school graduating in 1969. After graduation he moved with his family to Elko, Nevada where he was married to Gail and began his family with her son, Duke and the birth of their son, Glenn. Wade managed ranches and moved to various cities and states following his work. Wade gave up ranching in the 80's and got in the trucking industry where he found himself traveling extensively throughout the United States with his son, Glenn. In March of 2022 after the death of his son Wade sold the family trucking business and retired. Wade enjoyed raising goats during his retirement but his passion was team roping.

He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Glenn; and one brother, Richard Jueschke.

Wade is survived by his wife, Darlene, of the home; son that he raised, Duke Vega and wife, Daphne, Virginia; Darlene's children, Bill Carter and wife, Della, St. George, UT and Brandi Paschall and husband, Mark, Little Elm, TX; 5 grandchildren, Alexis, Rowdy, Rion, Lilly, and Emali; 2 great grandchildren, Aubrie and Addyson; 2 brother Wayne Jueschke, Elko, NV and Coby Combs and wife, Lori, Cisco, TX and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, January 13th, 2024 at the Combs Family Shop at 2:00 PM officiated by Alan Morgan. Arrangements are under the direction of Chris Whinery and the staff of Affordable Cremation Service-West. Condolences can be made online at www.classicfunerals.com.
