Obituary

Henry Wayne Denson was born August 10th, 1952 in Georgetown, Texas to Ruby Mae (Breeden) and Chester Denson, Jr. He passed away at Elk City, Oklahoma on Tuesday, January 2nd, 2024 at the age of 71 years, 4 months and 23 days.

Henry grew up in Jarrell, Texas where he attended school. At the age of 19 he was drafted into the United States Army and saw extensive service during VietNam and the Korean Conflict. Henry was also stationed in Germany and Japan during his time of service. He was honorably discharged in the late 70's and returned to Texas where he lived in the Houston, Texas area. Henry continued to work for Heliflight where they assembled helicopters for the United States Military. In 1985 Henry met a woman by the name of Dianne Sue Osborn and they were later married on February 14th, 1986 in Missouri. Together they moved to various places to be closer to their families and their parents. Henry began working in the construction industry and made it his career for 20+ years. After leaving the construction industry he held jobs as a security officer and driving a truck until his health forced his retirement in 2016. He enjoyed fishing, playing his guitar, feeding everyone, raising chickens, and spending time with his family and friends. He was a loving father and friend.

He is preceded in death by his parents; 2 brothers, Stanley "Bubby" and James "Mitchell" Denson; 1 sister, Jennifer Skinner.

Henry is survived by his wife, Dianne, of the home; 3 children, Christie Denson, Washington, Jessie Osborn and wife, Bree, Elk City, OK, Justin Bell, TX, and Brittniy Freeman and husband, Brandon, Canute, OK; 6 grandchildren, Kaseton, Acelynn Wayne, Nekota, Dekota, Rhyder, and Dixie; 1 sister, Janet Ratliff, Jennings, OK and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
