Glenda Ann Lovelady, born March 4, 1948 to Anderson L. and Hazel L. Chandler in Dallas, TX. She attended school in Dallas and Ft. Worth, TX prior to relocating to Clinton and Elk City, OK where she attended Elk City High School. Glenda then went on to attend cosmetology school in Clovis, NM.

In 1968 Glenda married Charles Dee Lovelady in Wheeler, TX; to this union three children were born - Lori, Jeff, and Freddie. The family settled in Elk City, OK where Glenda enjoyed caring for her family. In her free time she enjoyed crochet, crosswords, Sudoku, listening to gospel music, and watching her grandchildren play. She also loved doing her family's hair for special occasions.

She was preceded in death by her parents Anderson and Hazel Chandler; sister Pat Bray; brothers Michael Harrel and Douglas Voyles; four great-grandchildren, Todd H., Todd A., Jarrod, and Alleah; and best friend Betty Hargues.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband Charles Lovelady; children Lori Lovelady of Elk City, OK, Jeffrey Lovelady (Susanne) of Gainesville, TX, and Freddie Lovelady (Lisa) of Elk City; Tiffany Harry (Dustin) of Sulfur Springs, TX, Lekisha Chase of Elk City, Corbin Lovelady (Laura) of Oklahoma City, Bret Lovelady of Elk City, Brooklyn Lovelady of Shawnee, OK, Ashley Rockholt (Robert) of Yukon, OK, Courtney Bernstrom (Eric) of Elk City, Landon Lovelady of Elk City; 11 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
