Ginnie Lee Young Caylor, 89, of Elk City, Oklahoma was born on January 31, 1933 to Noah Seaburn and Allie Pauline Kellett Young in Okfuskee County at her family home and died January 23,2023, at Great Plains Regional Medical Center surrounded by family.

After graduating from Canute High School in May of 1950, she married Dean Caylor also of Canute. They continued to live in Washita County where thy maintained the family farm while they both worked for Armour and Company of Elk City, OK. Dean and Ginnie were blessed with four daughters; Karen Kay Mincher, Connie Lee Caylor, Dana Ladean Smith, and Melinda Gay Looney. Ginnie worked as an office manager for Drs. Leebron, Featherston, and Sugarman. From there she worked at Elk City Urban Renewal for several years before becoming the Executive Director at Fairview Village. Throughout her adult life she was a charter member of the Elk City Jaycees where her favorite project was the Elk City Wading Pool. She also served as member of the Elk City Round-Up Club. She was also a lifetime member of the 2nd and Adams Church of Christ in Elk City, OK. In her retirement, she enjoyed following her grandchildren and great grandchildren around the state watching them play football, softball, and many activities that they were involved in as they grew up.

Ginnie is survived by her daughters, Karen and her husband Allen Mincher of Elk City, Ladean and her husband Ron Smith of Elk City; Seven grandchildren, Dwight Mincher and wife Cyndi of Decatur, TX, Dana Tarrant and her husband Jeremy of Sulphur Springs, TX, DeLena McLemore and her husband Jed of Elk City, OK, Sara Smith and Rich Sanders of Arapaho, OK, Ashley Bladen and her husband Stuart of Baton Rouge, LA, Nate Smith and his wife Mercedes of Elk City, OK, and Cody Looney of Baton Rouge, LA. Eleven great grandchildren, Austin Allen Mincher and wife Taylor of Temple, TX, Jaxson Dean Mincher of Decatur, TX, Jayden Myles and Jorden Maddux Tarrant of Sulphur Springs, TX, Lacy Kay, Lucy Sue, and Caylor Latham McLemore of Elk City, OK, Baxter Stevenson and Lulu Mindy Rose Bladen of Baton Rouge, LA, Riah Lee and Jasper Wayne Smith of Elk City, OK. One great great granddaughter, Lakyn Jean of Temple, TX. Also surviving her; one sister Virginia Parks of Ponca City, OK, one brother-in-law, Finis Stafford and his wife Dorothy of Waddell, AZ, one sister-in-law, Charlotte Ronne and her husband George of Hillsboro, MO. She is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews.

Ginnie was preceded in death by her parents, Allie Pauline and Noah Seaburn Young, her husband, Dean Caylor, two daughters, Connie Lee Caylor in 1954 and Melinda Caylor Looney in 2021, sister Loretta Stafford of Phoenix, AZ, brother Captain Eular M. Young, US Army, grandparents, aunts, and uncles also preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be Friday January 27, 2023 at 10:00 AM at the 2nd and Adams Church of Christ officiated by Rod Minor.
