Gered Randall Davis was born November 30th, 1977 in Elk City, Oklahoma to Vickie Lynn (Aldridge) and George Randall Davis. He passed away at his home north of Elk City, Oklahoma on Saturday, August 13th, 2022 at the age of 44 years, 8 months and 14 days. Gered grew up in Elk City and attended school at Merritt. He was a member of the graduating class of 1996. He spent his high school years learning how to farm with his grand-dad, Mac Aldridge. He also worked harvesting with his uncle, Dale Aldridge. After graduation Gered attended Votech where he obtained his certifications as an auto mechanic. He worked for a couple different mechanic shops and drove semi's in the oil field until he opened his own, Detailing Concepts. He was married to Candra Gayle (Schneberger) at Elk City, Oklahoma on February 7th, 2004. They continued to make their home in Elk City where they raised their family. Gered owned and successfully operated Detailing Concepts for over 15 years and enjoyed all aspects from building, restoring, general maintenance, and improvements on all makes and models. He returned to driving a truck as an over the road freight driver and in the oil field until 2021 when his health forced his retirement. Although Gered enjoyed cars, motorcycles and camping, at heart he was a family man and enjoyed nothing more than spending time with his family and friends. He is preceded in death by his father, George Davis; step-father, Kim Clagett; grandparents, Mac and Lorene Aldridge, and also Gladys Aldridge. Gered is survived by his wife, Candra, of the home; 3 children, Kelsey, Dillon, and Aspen Davis, all of the home; his mother, Vickie Clagett, Elk City, OK; half-brother, Victor Clagett, Elk City, OK and several other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Friday, August 19th, 2022 at the First Assembly of God Church officiated by Rev. Kevin Akins.
