Gary Carlisle

Gary Paul Carlisle was born August 25th, 1951 in McAlester, Oklahoma to Ruth Clementine (Parker) Carlisle. He passed away in Shattuck, Oklahoma on Tuesday, October 13th, 2026 at the age of 75 years, 1 month and 18 days.

Gary moved with his family at an early to the Foss, Oklahoma community. He attended school at Canute, Oklahoma where he graduated in 1969. After graduation he worked a few harvest jobs before finding employment in the oil and natural gas industry. After the "bust" of the oil field he moved to Austin, Texas where he was married and began his own construction business. He eventually moved back to western Oklahoma where he remained until his passing. Gary enjoyed tinkering with hot rods and flat bottom boats.

He is preceded in by his mother, Ruth; 1 son, Billy Cecil Carlisle; and 2 brothers, Jackie and Billy Carlisle.

Gary is survived by 2 brothers, James Carlisle, Foss, OK and Randy Carlisle, Canute, OK; 1 sister, Kathy Carlisle, Oklahoma City, OK as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
