Gary Dean Batchelor was born June 16th, 1965 in Cheyenne, Oklahoma to Doris Jean (Dotson) and Charles Billy Batchelor. He passed away at his home in Cheyenne, Oklahoma on Wednesday, September 13th, 2023 at the age of 58 years, 2 months and 28 days.

Gary grew up and attended school in Cheyenne. He graduated as part of the class of 1983 and found employment with Gene Smith Chevrolet. Gary was married to Christy Ann (Parkhurst) in Strong City, Oklahoma on October 5th, 1997. Together they made their home in Elk City until 2011 when they made their home back in the Cheyenne community. In 2015 Gary obtained employment with the City of Cheyenne and continued until his health forced his retirement. Even after his health forced his retirement, Gary was known to work on anything with an engine out of his garage. He also enjoyed listening to music, working on his trucks, and spending time with his family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents; 1 infant brother; 1 brother, Billy Batchelor; and 1 sister, Mary Ann Batchelor.

Gary is survived by his wife, Christy, of the home; 3 children, Jordan Lindberg, Shamen Parkhurst and wife, Kenzi, and Garyn Pierce and husband, William, all of Cheynne, OK; 4 grandchildren, Anzlie, Elena, Winston, and Ellie and a host of other relatives and friends.
