Francisco Guevara "Frank" Garcia was born on February 15, 1950 to Ramon Garcia and Francisca G. (Guevara) Rios in LaJoya, TX. He passed on July 19, 2025 at the age of 75 years, 5 months, and 4 days.

Frank was raised in Carnegie, Mountain View area. Frank grew up as the oldest of his six siblings Freddie Sr., Margie, Maria, Yolanda, Manuel Jr., and David. He attended school in Carnegie, OK, where he was known as "Cowboy". During and after his school years, Frank worked on the farms in the Carnegie area. In 1971, he was drafted into the United States Army where he served in Company A 1st Battalion 58th Infantry, division 197th Infantry Brigade 3A in the Vietnam War. In basic training, Frank met his best friend Richard "Dickie" Snodgrass. They discovered they both had family from Erick, OK and a lifelong friendship began.

After faithfully serving his country, Frank moved back to Carnegie, Mountain View area for a brief time. He moved to Clinton, OK where he worked in the oil field as a rough neck and also a cementer for BJ Hughes. He also did seismograph for Exxon and other various oil companies. Frank also worked as a carpenter with his friend Russel Dyson for many years.

In his spare time, Frank enjoyed reading, watching television which included westerns, sports "especially anything OU", and game shows. He also liked doing word puzzles. Frank was an avid animal lover but cats were his favorite. He was well known in Erick for his daily walks. Frank was known for his kindness and generosity and would always help anyone of his friends and family. He never expected anything in return. Frank was known as a private man, and if anyone needed to talk they knew he could be trusted.

Frank is preceded in death by his father Ramon Garcia, mother Francisca Rios, grandparents Jacinto and Gregoria Guevara, brother Salvador Jasso Guevara, an infant sister, uncles Juan, Isaias, and Andres, and aunt Geneva.
