Faron Ray Hyman was born May 3rd, 1956 in Shattuck, Oklahoma to LuAnn Sue (Stroup) and Raymond Augustus Hyman. He passed away Sunday, November 26th, 2023 at Elk City, Oklahoma at the age of 67 years, 6 months and 23 days.

Faron grew up in the Durham and Crawford communities and attended Cheyenne High School graduating in 1974. During his time in school he worked for a dairy, milking cows and anything else his neighbors needed. After graduation he briefly worked for Roger Mills county for a period of time before starting his career in the oil field. Faron was loyal to who he worked for and he was one that stayed with a company for as long as possible. His last position was a driller with Unit drilling where he retired in 2018. Faron's passion was working and providing for his family. He valued the relationships he had with all of his hands on the rig. Faron also enjoyed tinkering on old cars or any other project that needed his attention.

He is preceded in death by his father; 5 uncles, David, Jesse, Melvin, Kenneth, and Harold Hyman.

Faron is survived by his companion, Denetha, of the home; 3 children, Sandra Beer and husband, Wayne, Oklahoma City, OK, Sherri Krittenbrink and husband, Jason, Kingfisher, OK and Kenneth Hyman and wife, LaCacia, Elk City, OK; bonus daughter, Ashley Haas, Elk City, OK; 7 grandchildren, Luke, Samuel, Henley, Jaxon, Kaylee, Kelby, and Dalila; his mother, Sue Snell; 3 siblings, Lawana Roark and husband, Deryl, Lisa Woods and husband, Carl, and Arlen Hyman and wife, Barbara; a close and special uncle, Rodney Stroup and a host of other relatives and friends.
