Ella "Faye" Lambert  was born on July 28, 1945 in Sayre,  Oklahoma, to Austin Willie and Dortha Mae Lambert. She passed away in Elk City on March 20th, 2026 at the age of 80 years and 8 months.

Everyone knew Ella as Faye. She worked at Hensley's nursing home in Sayre, Oklahoma, for several years. Faye later joined home health services where she enjoyed traveling and taking care of others until her retirement. Faye was married to Justin "Doyle" Yell and they had four children.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Austin  and Dortha Lambert; a brother Willie Eugene Lambert; three sisters; Ona Mae Huddleston, Phyllis Wright, and Shirley Monroe; and two sons, Billy Wayne Yell and Terry Doyle Yell.

Faye is survived by one son James Yell of Elk City, Oklahoma and one daughter Sherry Thompson and husband John of Elk City, Oklahoma. She has a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, family and friends.

A private family service will be held at a later date.
