Dustin Lyn Allen was born August 28th, 1973 in Sayre, Oklahoma to Janice Kay (Reel) Wolfe. He passed away at his home in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on Wednesday, May 10th, 2023 at the age of 49 years, 8 months and 12 days.
Dustin grew up in Sayre where he attended school and was a member of the graduating class of 1991. After graduation, he began working for Balliets and Marshawns Pageant Store and was a buyer for the stores in the Dallas, Texas area. After working on the wholesale side of pageantry, Dustin returned to Sayre, Oklahoma where he purchased the Unique Boutique that he owned and operated for a number of years. He followed his love of pageants by attending Western Oklahoma Technology Center in Burns Flat where he obtained his cosmetology certifications. Dustin spent countless hours as a consultant for the Miss Oklahoma, Miss USA, and Miss America pageants and also worked with the winners of each contest throughout the years. In his spare time he also enjoyed dancing, reading, listening to music and spending time with his family and especially his nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his brother, Jody Von Allen; grandparents, Bowie and Ruby Lea Allen, J.C. Reel and Delorse Vandine; niece and nephew, Pake Austin Allen and Kalea Lyn Allen; great grandmothers, Maggie Faye Green and Retha Graham.
Dustin is survived by his mother, Janice Wolfe, Ft. Gibson, OK; 1 sister, Deidra Allen, Ft. Gibson, OK; 2 brothers, Jake Allen, Oklahoma City, OK, and Jeremy Allen, Oklahoma City, OK; nieces and nephews, Maggie Pyper Allen, Preston Allen, Matthew Allen, Karissa Allen, Jacob Cee Allen, Victoria Allen, Destiny Allen, and Spencer Allen and host of other relatives and friends.
Graveside services will be held Friday, May 19th, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Buffalo Cemetery officiated by Billy Clabaugh. Arrangements are under the direction of Chris Whinery and the staff of Affordable Cremation Service-West. Condolences can be made online at www.classicfunerals.com
