Donald Eugene Williamson was born December 7th, 1945 in Long Beach, California to Magna Merl (Boswell) and Bollard Edmund Williamson. He passed away in his home in Hammon, Oklahoma on Tuesday, December 27th, 2022 at the age of 77 years and 20 days.

At the age of 2, Don moved with his family to Hammon, Oklahoma where he attended school graduating in 1964. After graduation he joined the United States Navy where served on the USS Hassayampa during Vietnam. Upon his discharge in 1968 he briefly attended Southwestern Oklahoma State University before joining the Merchant Marines for a few years. Don was married to Deanna (Morgan) on October 2nd, 1974 in Wheeler, Texas. Together they made their home in Hammon, Oklahoma while Don returned to college. He obtained his bachelor's degree in economics and later his master's in education. In 1978, Don began his career in the oil field where he was a store manager for National Oilwell and continued there until 1985. He later managed the Hendershot Tool Company machine shop until 1990 when he returned to National where he finished out his career retiring in 1991. Don filled his retirement years with working out and running and hunting for indian artifacts. Don was a member of the Red Moon Gourd Clan and the Elk Horn Scrapper Society within the Cheyenne Indian Tribe.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and 2 brothers, Maurice and Jack Williamson.

Don is survived by his wife, Deanna, of the home; 1 son, Bart Williamson, Hammon, OK and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
