Diann Easter was born August 7th, 1948 in Sayre, Oklahoma to Anna Lee (Funderburg) and James Lloyd "Short" Pruet. She passed away at her home near Elk City, Oklahoma on Thursday, May 9th, 2024 at the age of 75 years, 9 months and 2 days.

Diann grew up in Sayre where she attended school graduating from Sayre High School. After graduation she furthered her education at Sayre Junior College and also attended beauty school in Altus, Oklahoma. She was later married to Joe Easter east of Sayre in 1972. They made their home in Sayre until moving to Gruver, Texas where they made their home until 1977 when they returned to Sayre. Diann was employed with local hotels cleaning rooms and cared for her miniature horses. they moved to the Merritt community in 1990 where they continued to reside. She also liked to care for her miniature horses, paint, potter, the University of Oklahoma sporting events, spending time with her family and friends, and especially spending time with her grandchildren and attending their school events.

She is preceded in death by her parents and husband, Joe.

Diann is survived by her son, Dustin Shea Easter, Elk City, OK; 2 grandsons, Barrett and Wesson Easter; cousins, Clara Langfitt and husband, Perry, Jeanie Wrather and husband, Ed, Karen Kruse and husband, Colby, Randy Pruet, Gwen Pruet, James Pruet and wife, Ginny, Sherry Hall, Mark Strobel and wife, Angie, Craig Strobel and wife, Rhonda, Scott Jay, and Tina Mannering and husband, Mark and a host of other relatives and friends.
