Debra Ann Hurlburt, known by most as Debbie", was born July 6th, 1966 in Misawa, Japan to Carolyn Faye (Holland) and Donald Lee Stagg. She passed away Wednesday, October 25th, 2023 at her home south of Erick at the age of 57 years, 3 months and 19 days.

Debbie grew up in Erick, Oklahoma where she attended school graduating in 1985. After graduation she worked at Walmart for a year before joining the United States Navy. She served as a cook until 1994 when she was honorably discharged in Virginia. While in the Navy, she met and was married to John Hurlburt on January 21st, 1993. They remained in Virginia where she worked until their retirement when they moved back to Erick, Oklahoma. After returning to western Oklahoma, Debbie was employed as a CNA at Sayre Hospital and Great Plains Regional Medical Center. Debbie enjoyed gardening, gaming, and spending time with her family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents and father-in-law, John Earl Hurlburt.

Debbie is survived by her husband, John, of the home; daughter, Whitney Nichole Hurlburt, Erick, OK; 2 bonus children, Kyle Hurlburt and wife, Cynthia Rivenbark, Bowling Springs, NC and Justine Hurlburt Hewett and husband, Jack Hewett, Jr. Bolivia, NC; 4 grandchildren, Kyla, Abigail, Gracie, and Liam Hurlburt; 1 brother, Ronald Stagg, Erick, OK; 2 aunts, Glenda West and husband, Dwayne, Erick, OK, and Mary Stagg, Moore, OK and a host of other relatives and friends.
