Deborah Jean Ford was born February 16, 1953, Big Springs TX, to the proud mother, Frances Merwin. She had six siblings, two sisters and four brothers. Sammie Merwin, Troy Brown, Glenda Palmer, Ricky Shuck, Bill Merwin and Scott Merwin.

She gave birth to four outstanding children, with her first husband Edgar L Wiggins, Deborah Wiggins of Wichita Falls, Frances Coats of Miller Shores, Edgar P Wiggins of Electra and Joe Wiggins of Electra. She Married her current husband of 35 years, David Ford in 1989. She moved beyond this world at 2:05 am, May 13, 2024 at the age of 71 while in the care of Hospice of Wichita Falls.

She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Frances and Samuel E Merwin of Cheyenne, OK, her brother, Troy Brown of Mesa AZ and her son David Wayne Ford of Wichita Falls.

Deborah married her first husband in 1969 and was married for 15 years living in Cheyenne OK and Burkburnett TX. She then met her second and current husband David Ford in 1989. Her family grew when she met David with the addition of his two children, David Wayne Ford and Crystal Ford. Throughout her life she devoted herself to the care of others as a Certified Nurse Aid. She never met a stranger and was always eager to help anyone in need.

She is survived by her husband, David Ford, Her siblings, Sammie Merwin, Glenda Brown, Ricky Palmer, Bill Merwin and Scott Merwin, as well as her children, Deborah Wiggins, Frances Coats, Edgar Wiggins, Joe Wiggins, Crystal Ford, and 11 grandchildren. She will be missed by all of those who knew her. She inspired many through her giving nature, love of others and devotion to her career. To know her is to love her.
