Dawn Alane Green was born March 27th, 1970 in Salinas, CA, to Amelia Gertrude Green (Simpson) and Edward James Green. She passed away at her home in Arapaho, Oklahoma on January 2nd, 2025 at the age of 54.

She moved with the rest of her family to Clinton, Oklahoma when she was 12, where she attended junior and senior high school, graduating in 1988. She soon after moved back to California where she spent the next 26 years making memories, friends, and pursuing many different life experiences. In 2014, she moved back to Oklahoma to

help run her parents' carpet store until it closed. She was their carer until her breast cancer diagnosis.

Dawnie was one of those amazing people that you only encounter once in a lifetime. She lived a good life even when it got tough because she made the most of any given situation. The Lord played a very important role in her life, and she would shout it from the rooftops if she had to. People enjoyed being around her because of her humor,

authenticity, bright spirit, and sincerity. Above all else, she was an amazing mother who did her best with what she knew and had. In her spare time, she enjoyed going to garage sales, antique malls, doing yard work and renovations on her homes, and watching her crime shows. She is loved and cared for by so many. That will never cease.

She is preceded in death by her parents and one of her best friends, Barbara Troxell.

Dawn is survived by 2 children, Jordan Largent and Karsyn Green; 2 nieces, Allison Ledford and Elizabeth Mathis; and best friends, Stacy Tobar, David Duff, and Duane McGrew.
