David Lynn Stevens was born on July 25,1969 in Elk City, Oklahoma. He was the middle son of three boys born to Doug Stevens, Sr. and Janet (Sifford) Stevens. He attended school at Elk City before moving to Hammon where he graduated with the class of 1987.

It was not an easy job being the middle brother to his siblings. He was always the one that was picked on, but was always the easy going one until he would finally stand his ground. As an adult, there was no one he loved more than his brothers. David worked many jobs including real estate, car salesman and even owned his own antique store. He lived in Oklahoma City, then Houston, before moving back home to be closer to his family.

David will always be remembered for his sweet, kind and caring heart. He was very friendly to everyone and always had a smile on his face. David always kept in touch with his brothers, nieces and nephews by calling to check on them and seeing if they were okay. He never walked away without a hug and telling them that he loved them. David was the type of person that would do anything he could to help someone out, especially his family that he loved so much.

David is survived by his loving mother, Janet Stevens of Elk City; brother, Doug Stevens, Jr. and wife Kandy of Elk City; and brother, Danny Stevens and wife Debby of Gunnison, Colorado. Also surviving him are nieces and nephews Kassi Wynn and husband, Joel of Elk City; Kirsten Patton and husband Dalton of Elk City; Kailey Bullock of Yukon, OK; Kolton Stevens of Oklahoma City, OK; Dalton Stevens and fiance', Melissa Southard of Elk City; and Kourtney Williams and husband Sam of Richmond Hills, GA. David is also survived by five great-nieces and great-nephews Bentley and Bronx Patton, Elk City, OK; Kason Wynn, Elk City, OK; Brooklyn and Blaire Bullock, Yukon, OK.

Those preceding him in death include his grandparents, Johnnie Stevens, Velma Reece, and Joe and Lila Sifford, his dad Doug Stevens, Sr., niece Krista Stevens and many aunts and uncles.

David will be greatly missed but we are glad that he is made whole and healthy again and is resting in the arms of Jesus rejoicing with his other loved ones that have passed before him.
