David Lee Foster was born October 27th, 1966 in Odessa, Texas to Shirley Lynne (Brown) and T. Richard Foster. He passed away in Elk City, Oklahoma on Sunday, October 29th, 2023 at the age of 57 years and 2 days.

David grew up in Midland where he attended Robert E. Lee High School. He graduated in 1985 and started his working life as a gas plant mechanic in the oil and natural gas industry with Creole. While working as a mechanic, his job had him traveling to different gas plants across the United States. He worked around the Permain Basin until he found himself in Canadian, Texas and Ft. Smith, Arkansas. Work brought him to Elk City where he met and was married to Chandra Renee (McCaskill) on March 9th, 2002. Together they made their home in Elk City where David worked for multiple gas plants and was currently with Energy Transfer. David, from a young age, loved to golf and also enjoyed hunting, fishing, reading, and shooting. He absolutely loved his blue healer "Cali" and being with Chandra and the babies.

He is preceded in death by his father and his fur babies, Patches and Brandy.

David is survived by his wife, Chandra, of the home; mother, Shirley Lynne Foster, Manning, SC; 1 brother, Tony Foster, Midland, TX; 1 sister, Shelbae King, Manning, SC; 6 nieces and nephews, Corey Foster, Caleb Hayes, Taylor Smith, Kelsey Infiesto, Kourtney Foster, and Kade Foster and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family ask that in lieu of flowers memorial donations be made to Western Oklahoma Animal Rescue (WAR) or Donald Trump's next presidential campaign.
