Dalton Ranson
Haven
May 2, 1997 — Oct 12, 2025
"A heart that loved deeply, a laugh that lit up every room, and a life that will never be forgotten."
Dalton Ranson Haven was born on May 2, 1997 to Andrew John and Dana Michele (Drinnon) Haven in Clinton, OK. He passed away on October 12, 2025 at the age of 28 years, 5 months, and 10 days.
Dalton began his early life in Cheyenne, OK where he attended school until the 5th grade. In 2006, his family moved to Durham, OK and he later graduated from Reydon Public Schools with the class of 2015.
From a young age, Dalton had a strong work ethic and a heart full of determination. He started helping his dad fix windmills, and raise cattle, and by the age of 14, he was already working for Taylor Shaw building fence. After graduation, Dalton continued with Taylor Shaw before starting his own fencing and welding work. Over the years, he also ran heavy equipment for different contractors and worked in the oil field, most recently for Precision Drilling.
Dalton loved working with his hands, but what truly made him happiest was the time he spent with his family and friends. He had a big heart and an even bigger personality -always ready with a joke, a smile, or something to make everyone around him laugh. There was never a dull moment when Dalton was around. His life was full of joy, laughter, and love, and he had a way of making every person he met feel special.
In his spare time, Dalton loved welding, fishing, and hunting. He had a soft spot for animals and was always bringing home a stray dog, a new tattoo idea, or an old car he planned to fix up. He also loved riding and modifying his motorcycle. But above all, Dalton loved being a dad. His kids were his whole world, and he cherished every moment he had with them.
Dalton was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Gertrud and Ranson Haven and maternal grandfather Roy Drinnon.
He is survived by his fiancée, Shelby Bailey of Durham, OK; his two children, Annabel Jett and Ranson Loyal Haven and his stepdaughter, Saylor Maniatakes. He is also survived by his parents John and Dana Haven of Durham, OK; three sisters Brittany Hamman of Elk City, Tiffany Trollinger of Elk City, and Haley Haven of Winterhaven, FL; his maternal grandma Marcella Drinnon of Elk City, OK; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, extended family and countless friends who loved him dearly.
Dalton will be remembered for his infectious laugh, his generous heart, and the way he could light up any room he walked into. His love, humor, and spirit will live on forever in the hearts of all who knew him.
"Those we love don't go away,
They walk beside us every day.
Unseen, unheard, but always near,
Still loved, still missed, and very dear"
