Glenn Dale Moseley was born June 4th, 1943 in Sayre, Oklahoma to Margaret Eloise (Staples) and Glenn Wiley Moseley. He passed away at his home in Sayre, Oklahoma on Thursday, October 8th, 2026 at the age of 83 years, 4 months and 4 days.
Glenn, known by all as "Dale", grew up in the Sunny Point community and attended Sweetwater schools. At the age of 16, Dale found employment driving a milk truck for a company out of Pampa, Texas. He later began driving a truck moving trailer houses and over the road freight for the better part of 25 years. It was during this time he was married he was married to Wanda Lou (Taylor) in Clovis, New Mexico on August 29, 1974. They made their home in Shallowater, Texas for a short period of time before moving northwest of Sayre, Oklahoma. Dale was employed with Harlow Oil Company out of Amarillo, Texas and later Galmore's Oil Company checking wells in the oil field. After Wanda's passing in 2011, he worked for Doyle Bales doing carpentry work. Dale's relationship with Mary (Farrel) continued to grow and they were married on July 29, 2012. After their marriage they made their home in Sayre and both retired in 2014. Together they enjoyed some traveling but mostly found their purpose working with their church and serving the Lord.
He is preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Wanda; 2 brothers, Ronnie and Gary Moseley; 1 sister, Lila Sears; 2 nephews, Brian Winter, and Michael Moseley, and 1 niece, Terry Sears.
Dale is survived by his wife, Mary, of the home; Mary's 2 children, Sherry Beckmon and husband, Johnny, Minco, OK, Mike Rice, Sayre, OK; grandchildren, Brody Rice and wife, Katie, Shandra Craft and husband, Jeremy, Trevor Johnson and wife, Rebecca, and Summer Rice and husband, Tristan Nix; 4 great grandchildren, Harper and Hayes Rice, and Sylar and Stryker Neal; 1 sister, Linda Depron, Sayre, OK; 3 nieces, Katonia Addington and husband, Rick, Sayre, OK, Adrian Mason, Oklahoma City, OK, and Keshia Walker, Elk City, OK; 1 nephew, Joshua Mason, Oklahoma City, OK as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
The family request that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to Lone Oak Cemetery in care of Konna Summers, 10095 North 1790 Road, Reydon, OK 73660.
