Obituary

Dale Eugene Clift Sr. was born in Wattsonville, California to Gladyse Ann (Mabra) and Homer Lee Clift. He passed away at his home in Cheyenne, Oklahoma on Saturday, August 20th, 2022 at the age of 84 years, 1 month and 1 day. Dale grew up in Reydon, Oklahoma where he attended school. Toward the end of his school years he was drafted into the United States Army where he was later stationed in Greenland. After his 2 years deployment, he was honorably discharged and moved back to Reydon where he farmed and started driving a semi. In the early 70's he moved to Hereford, Texas where he drove a truck and operated a front end loader for a cattle feed lot. In 1972 he moved to Arnett, Oklahoma until 1979 when the moved to Vici. It was during this time that Dale owned and operated Clift Tank Trucks. After leaving Vici he lived in various locations until he settled in Kingfisher in 1998. After 10 years in Kingfisher he moved back to Cheyenne, where he called home to spend his forced retirement. Dale enjoyed fishing, caring for his dogs, and spending time with his family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Billy Clift; oldest son, David Webb and the mother of his children, Linda K. Clift. Dale is survived by 5 children, Danny Webb and wife, Kelly, Farmington, NM, Lorri Doneyson, Cheyenne, OK, Linda Clift and companion, Ray Conner, Cheyenne, OK, Shannon Leonard, Cheyenne, OK, and Dale Clift, Jr., and Dawn, Noble, OK; daughter-in-law, Senaida Webb, Vici, OK; 18 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
