Colleen Gordon was born on August 19, 1926 to Ernest and Edith (Abercrombie) Holland in Erick, Oklahoma. She passed away on May 24, 2023 at her home in Erick, Oklahoma at the age of 96 years, 9 months and 5 days.

She attended school at Dabney and Erick before she married Delton R Gordon Jr. on October 10, 1942, in Sayre, Oklahoma. They made their home in Erick where Colleen owned and operated Colleen's Beauty Shop. Colleen was a person that was always taking care of other people; her family, her friends or just anyone she would meet. She and her family were instrumental in organizing and starting the Erick Volunteer Ambulance Service. In her retirement she drove for Red River Transportation. She was known to all as "NaNa". She was a member of the Erick First Baptist Church since 1936

She was preceded by her parents, parents-in-law, husband, 2 sons, Richard Arvie "Little Rickey" Gordon, Marion Earl "Mike" Gordon, 2 sons-in-law, Harold Splinter and C. L. Gibson and 1 brother, Marion Holland.

She is survived by her daughter, Gayla Splinter, daughter-in-law, June Gordon, 4 grandchildren, Tere King (Greg), Kimberle Edwards (Chris), Paige Splinter Abbott, Gordon Splinter, 7 great grandchildren, 8 great great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 26th, 2023 from 9:00 am - 9:00 pm at Affordable Cremation Service-West in Elk City, OK. Funeral services will be on Saturday, May 27th, 2023 at 2:00 PM in the Erick First Baptist Church with Ralph Chapman officiating. Interment will be in the Erick Cemetery under the direction of Chris Whinery and the staff of Affordable Cremation Service-West.
