Clarence Anthony Stamm was born February 1st, 1938 on the family farm southwest of Foss, Oklahoma to Marie Anna (Simon) and Albert Anthony Stamm. He passed away on Monday, July 8th, 2024 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 86 years, 5 months and 7 days.
Clarence grew up in the Foss community where he attended St. Francis Catholic School until he completed the 8th grade and graduated from Holy Family. After graduation he continued to work on the family farm and was later married to Joyce Babe (Whitley) on November 13th, 1958 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Elk City, Oklahoma. Together they moved to the home place in between Canute and Burns Flat where they raised their family and made their home. Throughout the years Clarence completed many houses, remodels, add-on's, and various other projects. In 1991, through a farming accident, he lost his arm and never missed a beat and could outwork most anyone. With his strong work ethic, and the work ethics that he instilled in his family they started Stamm Builders Inc. in 1994. Clarence was a life long member of the Catholic Church. He never formally retired but found time to walk creeks, collect antiques, take care of his cattle and spending time with his grandchildren, great grandchildren, other family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Joyce; 1 son, Clarence Stamm, Jr.; 1 granddaughter, Sumer Kamphaus; 1 sister, Norma Hoffman; and 1 brother, Donald Stamm.
Clarence is survived by his 4 children, Roxann Chauncey, Lisa Hostetter and husband, Hos, Ron Stamm and wife, Dona and Jacob Stamm and wife, Gena; 11 grandchildren, Kevin, Tony, Tim, Kristi, Megan, Mitchell, Jonathan, Michael, Marie, Cody, and Hunter; 13 great grandchildren; 1 sister, Teresa Chervenka and husband, Norbert; 1 brother, Charles Stamm and wife, Judy and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
