Christine Ann Wechsler was born February 27th, 1956 in Long Beach, California to Versey May (Helker) and William Robert Toth. She passed away at her home in Burns Flat, Oklahoma on Sunday, April 20th, 2025 at the age of 69 years, 1 month and 24 days.

Christine, known by most as "Chris", moved with parents all over California following her father's military career. She met a gentleman by the name Mark Alan Wechsler and they were married on December 7th, 1974. The made their home and started their family in California before moving to Elk City, Oklahoma in 1988. She found employment at Elk City Nursing Home and also Great Plains Regional Medical Center before her health forced her retirement. Chris enjoyed nothing more than being at home and taking care of her family, caring for her grandchildren, being "Gandma", and taking care of her animals.

She is preceded in death by her father; daughter, Tonya Wechsler; sister, Darlene Soukup; step-father, Jerry Keefer.

Chris is survived by her husband, Mark, of the home; 4 children, Mark Wechsler and wife, Megan, Oklahoma City, OK, Bobby Wechsler and wife, Staci, Weatherford, OK, Shannon Gonzales and husband, Agrrelo, Bethany, OK, and Chrissy Castellanos and husband, Marco, Riverside, CA; Madison and Jacob Flores, Agrrelo Gonzales, Jr., Joey and Naveah Gonzales, Sophia and Autumn Castellanos; her mother, Versey Keefer, Elk City, OK; 2 sisters, Barbara Salazar, Elk City, OK and Nancy Jenkins, Las Vegas, NV and a host of other relatives and friends.
