Christopher Dean Carpenter was born April 12th, 1960 in Amarillo, Texas to Judith Karen (Beard) and Samuel Dean Carpenter. He went to be with our Lord and other family members on Sunday, October 15th, 2023 after many years of health concerns. He is now free of his pain and suffering.
Chris lived a very good life and was loved by many. He served in the United States Marine Corps for several years. Chris loved driving and spent many years driving a bus for Greyhound and later driving a truck hauling equipment and other things in the oilfield. One of his favorite thing to do as he got older was ride a motorcycle with friends and family. His passion in life was spending time with his grandchildren. Chris dedicated 14 years of his life serving grieving families of western Oklahoma through his employment with Whinery Funeral Service. He was also a lifetime member of the Downed Bikers Association.
He preceded in death by his mother, Judith; his grandparents and a host of other family and close friends.
Chris is survived by his wife, Shellie, of the home; his children, Lisa Zimms, and husband, Chad and their children of Berlin, OK, Lindy Duncan and husband, Franklin than their children, Elk City, OK, Lane Carpenter and wife, Rachel, Sayre, OK and their children; his father, Dean Carpenter and wife, Dee, Burleson, TX; sister, Debbie Mann, Albuquerque, NM and a host of other relatives and friends.
