Charles Lesley Shockley was born January 29, 1957, to Charles Marian Shockley and Millie Fay (Netherton) Holden in Borger, Texas. He passed away on February 16, 2025, at his home in Stigler, Oklahoma at the age of 68 years, and 18 days.
Charles grew up and attended school in Oregon. He married Linda Davidson on January 31, 1975, and to this union he had three children Cheryl, Charlotte, and Frank.
He later married Bille Joy Shockley on May 1, 1980, and he gained 2 more daughters, Tammy and Angel. Together they settled in Dill City, Oklahoma where they raised their family.
Charles drove a truck with Joy and got to see many places as an over-the-road truck driver. He went to work as a mechanic for Dolese Bros. Co, before retiring due to health issues. Charles and Joy moved to Stigler, OK where he and Joy bought a house on Lake Eufaula. Charles loved to play his guitar and teaching his grandchildren to play, taking his boat out on the lake to fish or he was spending time with his family and grandchildren.
Charles was preceded in death by his wife, Joy Shockley, daughter, Cheryl Flores, his parents Charles Shockley and Millie Holden, and brother, Henry Shockley.
He is survived by his 4 children, Frank Shockley and wife, Tara, Elk City, OK, Charlotte Morrison and husband, Cary, Russellville, AR, Angel Whitson, Eufaula, OK, Tammy Maxey and husband, Jason, Dill City, OK; 13 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Carlotta Keith and spouse, David, Burkburnett TX, Tammy Keith and husband, Homer and a host of other relatives and friends.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.
