Carla Diane (Long) Luttmer, age 68, was born in Woodward, Oklahoma on May 21, 1957, to Bill and Joy (Vassar) Long. She passed away on Wednesday, January 7th, 2026 in Canute, Oklahoma.

Carla graduated from Elk City High School in 1975. She married John Luttmer on January 30, 1976. They made their home in Canute, Oklahoma and raised their five children. Carla enjoyed fishing, crocheting, garage sales, and spending time at the Sentinel farm.

She is preceded in death by her father, Bill; sister, Lori Holuby; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Walter and Agnes Luttmer.

Carla is survived by her husband, John; her children, Stephanie and David Costello, Elk City, OK, Diane and Dustin Burrows, Canute, OK, Michelle and Scott Taylor, Corn, OK, Scott Luttmer, Guthrie, OK, and Kevin and Christy Luttmer, Canute, OK; her mother, Joy Long, Guthrie, OK; sister, Vondra Long, Guthrie, OK; brother, Billy Long, Oklahoma City, OK; 10 grandchildren, Jacob and Whitney Costello, Regan, Reece, and Reanna Walters, Tabitha and CJ Strain, Daxus, Dylan, Logan, and Britten Taylor; one great grandson on the way, Steven Strain IV as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
