Brayson Lee Woodruff was born August 11th, 2005 in Guymon, Oklahoma the son of Jodee Wilson. He passed away in Sayre, Oklahoma on Monday, August 11th, 2025 at the age of 20 years.
Brayson, known to his family as "Bray" or "Bubba", moved with his mother to Sayre in November of 2005. He was doted on by his grandparents, David and Jo Bray. After his mother was married to Justin Woodruff, they began completing the steps for Justin to legally adopt Brayson. It was on April 24th, 2009 that they, along with the rest of the family stood in the Beckham County Courthouse and witnessed the legal adoption. Brayson attended Sayre Public Schools all 12 years and graduated with the class of 2024. It was during high school that he attended Western Oklahoma VoTech in the welding program. Brayson worked various jobs including welding, and working for Justin on the farm and the family feed store, 2M. Brayson was working towards entering the United States Military. In his spare time, he enjoyed playing video games, working on his truck, spending time with his girlfriend and friends as well as his family.
He is preceded in death by his great grandparents, David "Poppie" and Grandma Jo Bray, Elmer "Popo" and Imogene "Momo" Wilson, Bill and Corene Manning, and Lonnie and Peggy Woodruff.
Brayson is survived by his parents, Justin and Jodee Woodruff; 2 sisters, Prestyn and Rylee Woodruff, all of the home; grandparents, Becky Wilson and Susan Mennis, Dennis and Rhonda Wilson, Ronnie and Linda Woodruff; 2 uncles, Carson Wilson and Sonnie Green, Austin and Mia Olinger; 1 aunt, LaShawnda and Kevin Gitahi; his girlfriend, Zea Miller and a host of cousins, other relatives, and friends.
In lieu of flowers the family of Brayson Woodruff ask that donations be made to "The Brayson Woodruff Mental Health Foundation" in C/O Great Plains National Bank, 2017 West Third Street, Elk City, Oklahoma 73644
