Brandon Dwayne Stout was born July 26th, 1986 in Elk City, Oklahoma to Bridget Jane (Callahan) and Oral Don Stout. He passed away in Elk City on Sunday, March 5th, 2023 at the age of 36 years, 7 months and 7 days.
Brandon grew up in Elk City where he attended school graduating in 2005. After graduation he joined the United States Air Force but was medically discharged after a month. He returned to Elk City where he found employment working at various places including Western Animal Resources where he cared for rescue animals. He always had a soft spot in his heart for animals but his passion was his nieces and nephews and was considered the "fun uncle" that would never tell them no. Brandon had a dry sense of humor and wanted everyone around him to have a smile on their face, but struggled with addiction all of his adult life. Brandon had a big heart and always enjoyed late nights playing video games, drinking Dr. Pepper, and eating pepperoni hot pockets.
He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Donald "Poppy" Stout; uncle, Britt Callahan; and 2 cousins, Clay Callahan and Hayden Callahan.
He is survived by his parents, Don and Bridget Stout, Elk City, OK; sister, Melissa Stout, Elk City, OK; brother, Terry Stout and wife, Tracy, Mereaux, LA; sister, Chelsea Walker, Ardmore, OK; nieces and nephews, Trystan Stout, Bryson Fulton, Brealyn Fulton, Austin Stout, Emily Stout, Hannah Walker, and Emma Walker; grandparents, Johnnie Stout, Kacy Hall, and Clayton Callahan; uncle, Dean Stout; aunt, Suzan Callahan; cousins, Nikki Patterson and Kristy McWilliams.
Memorial donations can be made to Western Animal Rescue (WAR) at P.O. Box 2197, Elk City, OK 73648 or to Red Earth Animal Hospital for WAR account 3503 South Highway 6, Elk City, OK 73644.
Memorial services will be held Friday, March 10th, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. at the Eastside Baptist Church officiated by Chris Sapp. Arrangements are under the direction of Chris Whinery and the staff of Affordable Cremation Service-West. Condolences can be made online at www.classicfunerals.com
