Bobbie Kaye Tompkins was born on February 15, 1966 to Jimmie Leon and Bobbie Faye (Armstrong) Noblitt in Elk City, OK. She passed on September 3, 2025 at her home surrounded by family, at the age of 59 years, 6 months, and 19 days.

Bobbie K grew up with her younger brother Jim Ed Noblitt. Growing up, she lived briefly in Hereford, TX and Yukon, OK. When she was in seventh grade, the family moved back to Elk City, where she attended Merritt Public Schools and graduated with the class of 1984. After high school, Bobbie K attended Sayre Junior College where she obtained her associate degree in business. On September 14, 1985, Bobbie married Steve Tompkins in Elk City and to this union three children Brian, Stevie, and Lacie. Bobbie K and Steve moved to Hydro where she managed multiple convenience stores. In 1987, they moved to Foss where she has resided since. She worked as a substitute teacher and bus driver for Canute Public Schools for fifteen years. She later worked for Head Start in Burns Flat and made a life long impact on a lot of kids.

Bobbie K was a member of Eastside Baptist Church her whole life. She was a Sunday school teacher, helped clean the building, and cooked for all the meal events.

In her spare time, Bobbie K enjoyed cake making and decorating. She made over a hundred cakes for her friends and family. Bobbie K also loved to cook. She cooked for events such as holidays, church events, and family gatherings. Bobbie K enjoyed the outdoors. She could always be found working in her garden and flower beds. She also raised show pigs and loved to watch her children show them. Bobbie K loved to spend time with her family, especially her grandkids. She was an avid OSU fan and watched all sports dealing with OSU on TV. Bobbie K was known for her homemade barbeque sauce and her whistle. When she whistled everyone knew it was her and came running.

She is preceded in death by her father Jimmie Noblitt, son-in-law Brock Downs, great aunt Nila Force, and father and mother-in-law Betty and Don Tompkins.

Bobbie is survived by her husband of the home Steve Tompkins; three children Brian Tompkins and wife Stephanie of Ponca City, OK, Stevie Tompkins of Minnesota, and Lacie Tompkins and fiance Michael Shaw of Foss, OK; seven grandchildren Ashley, Dylan, Alex, Jaxon, Braxton, Jayse, and McKenzie; three great grandchildren Maverick, Whitley, and Carter; mother Bobbie Faye Noblitt of Merritt, OK; brother Jim Ed Noblitt and wife Lori of Mangum, OK; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and a host of friends.
