On the early morning of April 10, 2023, Betty Musgrove of Elk City, Oklahoma, died at the age of 91. She was born in Sayre, Oklahoma on October 21, 1931.

Betty grew up in Sayre where she attended and graduated from Sayre High School. She was one of five children. She was married to Calvin Musgrove on September 23, 1950. Betty made her life as a homemaker taking care of and providing for her family. Betty loved to cook but quilting was her favorite hobby. She made a lot of beautiful quilts over the years.

Betty is survived by her children John Musgrove Elk City, OK; Larry Musgrove Carpenter, OK; Sue Musgrove Elk City, OK and Jerry Musgrove Pawhuska, OK; her siblings, Marion Stevens, Joann Smith and Ralph Merrifield. A daughter in law, Lisa Musgrove, and nieces and nephews to numerous to mention. Twelve grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband Calvin, son Billy, parents Vethie Elston and Neva Maude Merrifield, three grandchildren, Brandy, Brandon and Mikey.

Betty will be missed by all who knew her. Services are pending and will be set for a later date.
