Barbara Lee Batchelor was born December 23rd, 1953 in Elk City, Oklahoma to Janet Loraine (Martin) and Walker Warren. She passed away in Elk City on Tuesday, July 15th, 2025 at the age of 71 years, 6 months and 22 days.

Barbara grew up in Elk City where she attended school and graduated. After graduation she was married to Jack Cordell and they made their home in the Cheyenne area. To this union two sons were born, Jason and Patrick. During this time Barbara was a stay at home mother and cared for her family. Barbara later moved back to Elk City where she met Billy Batchelor. Their relationship continued to grow while she used her many talents by cooking at Fairview Elementary, being a home healthcare nurse, and owning and operating her own packaging and mailing store. She was later married to Billy Dwayne Batchelor in Las Vegas, Nevada on July 8th, 1981. Together they made their home in the Elk City area. Barbara enjoyed going to the casino, fishing in her younger years, and watching T.V.

She is preceded in death by her parents; step-mother, Lola Mae Warren; husband, Billy; sister, Susan Bledsoe; brother, Randy Smith, and one grandson, Seth Cordell.

Barbara is survived by her 2 sons, Jason Cordell and wife, Misty, Taylor, OK and Patrick Cordell and wife, Krissy, Elk City, OK; 8 grandchildren, Ethan Beck, Memphis Cordell, Parker Beck, Raydon Cordell, Kaidynce Cordell, Londyn Cordell, Taos Cordell, and Utah Cordell....a.k.a. "Reggie". She is also survived by her step-father, Farrel Lundy and wife, Freida, Elk City, OK; sister, Kellee Morris and husband, Curtice, Taylor, OK and their daughter, Shayla Morris, Taylor, OK; brother-in-law, Martin Bledsoe, Elk City, OK and his daughter, Kaycee Swisher, Elk City, OK and a host of other relatives and friends.
