Adren Allen Jackson was born on February 4, 1944, to David Lowell and Rosalie (Fults) Jackson in Sayre, OK. He passed on August 9, 2025, at the age of 81 years, 6 months, and 5 days.
Adren grew up in Reydon, OK and was the youngest of his two siblings Virginia and DL. He attended Reydon Public Schools and graduated with the class of 1962.
After graduation, Adren worked as a heavy machine operator building highways in Oklahoma and Arkansas. In 1972, Adren moved back to Reydon where he owned, operated, and worked as an auto mechanic at his full-service station. He also began farming with his brother DL. In 1987, Adren moved to Elk City and he worked for Hutton, Inc. operating heavy equipment. After working over 30 years for Hutton, Inc., Adren retired in 2021.
In the early 80s, Adren was baptized at the Reydon First Baptist Church and he was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Elk City. He was a tinkerer at heart and loved working on cars. Adren could always be found fixing something or trying to find something to fix. He loved spending time with his friends and family. He met up with his friends every morning at the local coffee shop to swap stories.
He was preceded in death by his parents Dave and Rosalie Jackson, sister Virginia Savage, grandson Jarod Martindale, and son-in-law Buford Burnett.
Adren is survived by his six children Andrea Hobbs and husband Mike of Sapulpa, OK, Adren Jackson, Jr. of Naples, FL, Robby Mabra and wife Susan of Cheyenne, OK, Darla Burnett and Jay Puckett of Elk City, OK, Bradley Jackson of Oklahoma City, OK and Johnny Dale Mabra and wife Varina of Cheyenne, OK; fifteen grandchildren Logan, Emily, Tyler, Braden, Drake, Rachel, Ruthie, Eli, Timmy, Blake, Brace, Donnie, Dallas, Brooke, Braden, and Robert ; several great grandchildren; brother DL Jackson and wife Mary Lou of Cheyenne, OK; uncle Connie Fults of Cheyenne, OK; many nieces, nephews, extended family and a host of friends.
