Lynda Sue Borsarelli was born on January 4th, 1953 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Mary Marjory (Snyder) Buchanan and Bailey Westley Buchanan. She passed away in Elk City, Oklahoma on Saturday, January 8th, 2022 at the age of 69 years and 4 days. As a young child, Lynda moved to various towns and cities in Oklahoma with her family, attending schools in each one where they lived. She graduated in 1971 and went on to get a Cosmetology License and later a Technical degree in cumputer technology from ITT Tech in Houston. Her working history includes cosmetologist in Oklahoma, Telemetry Data Entry operator for NASA in Texas, and Microcomputer Analyst for the Houston Police Department in Texas. In 2019 she moved to Elk City, Oklahoma to be close to her niece and family. Her favorite time of the year was Christmas. She had many hobbies, including crafting, quilting, crocheting, and gardening. Lynda always knew what a home needed to make it happy and that in turn made her happy. Her husband of 23 years, Daniel, her parents, one sister and three nephews preceded her in death. Lynda is survived by 2 sisters, Sina Kay Guthrie and Rebekah Gail Richardson; 1 niece, Catrena Diane Williams and husband, Kyle and their family; 1 nephew, Clint Allen Dodson and wife, Pam and their family and a host of other great nieces, great nephews, other relatives and many friends. Virtual memorial services will be held Saturday, January 22nd, 2022 at 11:00 AM. Zoom meeting details will be posted as soon as they are available.
