Jerry Lynn Bohanon Jr. was born April 8th, 1974 in Elk City, Oklahoma to Della Mae (Chervenka) and Jerry Lynn Bohanon, Sr. He passed away Monday, November 1st, 2021 at Elk City, Oklahoma at the age of 47 years, 6 months and 24 days. Jerry, known as Junior, grew up in Canute where he attended school graduating in 1992. After graduation he began his 29 year career in the oil field where he began working at Trail Blazer as a roustabout. He later worked at Crescent and Powell's as a professional "wrench thrower" and could always be heard making the chewbacca sound. He enjoyed anything dealing with guns, reckless driving and spending time with his friends. Junior's passion in life was caring for his son and making sure he was well cared for. He is preceded in death by his mother, Della Mae Bohanon and his grandparents. Junior is survived by his son, Colton Bohanon, Elk City, OK; his father, Jerry Bohanon, Sr., Canute, OK; his brother, Jamie Bohanon, Elk City, OK; special friend, Linda Hohnke, Canute, OK; Rhyan and JD Garcia, Elk City, OK and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Monday, November 8th, 2021 at 10:00 AM at the Canute Fire Station officiated by Clayton Thomas.
